GARLENDA GOLF COURSE - ALASSIO, ITALIAN RIVIERA
We have 2 luxury villas and 10 apartments due for completion the end of 2007 set in the famous Garlenda Golf Course, which is located in the Lerrone Valley, one of the most picturesque valleys in Liguria, surrounded by ancient olive groves and pinewoods.
From the highest 'hole' you will enjoy a marvellous view of the seaside and of the Maritime Alps. Garlenda is the ideal place for a pleasant stay that involves golf as well as other activities because it is close to Alassio,
Architects Morrison and Harris, who wonderfully blended it in the local landscape without altering the environmental characteristics, have designed the 18 holes golf course, which was opened in 1965.
The course covers 6085 m., it is Par 72 and, from the Championship's Tee, it gives the most skilful players a hard test and offers a pleasant challenge for players from the normal Tees.
Throughout the years the Club has always improved its technical level and it is open all the year round. The Club House has a games room, a snooker room, a guesthouse which has been recently enlarged.
In the summer there is an open-air swimming pool. There are two horse racing courses in the neighbourhood, from which you can enjoy beautiful rides, going up the valley, to the untouched woods and to pleasant village surrounded by olive yards.
